Tonight DKMS, the largest bone marrow donor centre in the world, hosted its 6th annual gala event and honored Heidi Klum for her work in fighting blood cancer.

The gorgeous supermodel, who looked amazing in her long, low plunging silver dress was present at an earlier lighting ceremony where she helped illuminate the Empire State Building in red and white to raise awareness for the fight against blood cancer. Klum said;

“I am honored to join Bernd and DKMS in their all-important fight against blood cancer, and to celebrate the sixth annual DKMS Gala. When the Empire State Building is shining red and white, I hope that it will remind everyone who sees it that we all have the power to save lives. As a mother, I am especially mindful that leukemia is the most common form of cancer among children; I hope these efforts will inspire people to register as bone marrow donors with DKMS and possibly save the life of a patient in need.”

Sounds like a wonderful cause!

If you ever wondered what a celebrity baby shower looked like on the inside, well wonder no more! Jessica Simpson posted the above video on her website tonight that gives us a glimpse of her Charlotte’s Web themed baby shower.

The video shows Jessica’s family and friends enjoying the day and Jess opening her gifts with fiancé Eric Johnson while her bff Cacee Cobb writes down all the details of the presents.

I spotted Jessica Alba and Haven in the crowd of well wishers as well as Jessica’s sister Ashlee and lots of kids, presents and food! Celebrities definitely know how to throw a shower!

I still can’t believe that Jessica hasn’t had her baby yet. She must be due soon!

Hilary Duff is one dedicated new mama! Honestly I keep seeing this woman heading to her regular Pilates class and I have to applaud her dedication.

The new mom certainly looks fabulous but she recently revealed that she found the fatigue one of the hardest part of having a newborn;

“The first week I was like, ‘I’m doing this, I’m good. I can not sleep, I can do this.’ I don’t know where you get that energy from. Then it hits you — the fatigue.”

I can totally relate to that! Maybe if she gave herself a bit of a break about getting back into shape and got some extra sleep she might be a bit more rested!

Well there certainly does seem to be something in the water in Hollywood, doesn’t it!?  Congratulations go out to Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. who Us Weekly confirmed today are expecting baby #2!

The Ringer star and her husband, who started dating in 1997 are parents to 3 year old daughter Charlotte Grace. I bet she’s excited to have a little sibling!

Cougar Town star Busy Phillips was spotted on the red carpet at the “Hooray for Hollygrove” event at the Hollywood museum on Wednesday night.

The actress and celebrity mom was dressed in a cute, short black number that showed off her toned legs. I’m really loving the accessorized beading too, although I’m not sure if that’s part of her dress or a separate necklace. Either way, it’s a great way to accessorize an understated dress.
