Taylor Swift was THE big winner of the evening at last night’s 2013 Billboard Music Awards. She wasn’t the only singer to win multiple awards, however. Madonna, as you can see in the main picture, won three awards last night. She also turned heads with quite an outfit. Madonna’s still got it- LOL.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards’ red carpet had a variety of fashion styles. Jennifer Lopez, Emmy Rossum, ‘Once Upon a Time’ star Jennifer Morrison, and Carly Rae Jepsen flaunted skin through transparent fabrics. That seems to be the single biggest fashion trend in Hollywood! Ke$ha nearly flashed everyone with a slit in her skirt that ran up her hip. Kelly Rowland had a much more traditional slit up the front of her skirt. Avril Lavigne kept her look edgy in black leather. ‘Carrie’ star Chloe Grace Moretz had fun with color blocking, while Hayden Panettiere kept it simple with basic black. Chris Brown was super casual, and former ‘American Idol’ judge Nicki Minaj popped in red. What do you think of the fashions? Selena Gomez continued to show off her more adult fashion sense at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. Check out that thigh-high slit (and the peek-a-boo slit running down from the neckline to her hip)! Selena has the body for this dress. Personally, I think she looks great. I love the little bit of color she has as accents for this dress.

We see so many red carpet looks these days. It’s fun to see something different. This dress is different without being at all over-the-top or just so far out there that you wondered who even thought to design such a dress! I bet Justin Bieber was impressed  .

Taylor Swift sparkled on the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards last night, didn’t she?  She looked gorgeous in this dress. Taylor let the dress take center stage, keeping accessories to a minimum. It ended up being a smart move for the singer: Taylor won EIGHT awards last night.

She left the ceremony with plenty of accessories- LOL. Taylor won Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Country Album, Top Country Song, and Top Digital Songs Artist. At least Taylor had to share the last award in a tie with Carly Rae Jepsen. The awards show should have been named: ’2013 Billboard Music Awards: Starring Taylor Swift.’ Congratulations!

Miley Cyrus decided to have fun with patterns for her pantsuit for the Billboard Music Awards. She’s enjoying pantsuits these days, isn’t she? The pattern of her dress makes me think of a checkerboard floor- LOL. The pattern with this knit is completely unexpected. There’s no question Miley is cultivating an edgy, punk-rock type of look these days.

Furthermore, Miley can be guaranteed that NO ONE will be dressed like her. As a celebrity, being noticed is a key part of the game. Miley definitely accomplished that at the Billboard Music Awards! I like the pantsuit just because it’s different.

Kristen Stewart reportedly isn’t in the happiest place since her split from her former ‘Twilight‘ co-star, Robert Pattinson. A friend dished the dirt with People.

“They again went from spending every second together, to spending more time apart at their separate houses. Kristen has been in a terrible mood, and it was obvious that things were not great with Rob.

“It was very strange that they didn’t celebrate Rob’s birthday together. He had friends over at his house, but Kristen was not part of the celebration. For the past few days, they have not spent any time together.”

That IS surprising, especially since Robert reportedly got Kristen a $46,000 pen for her birthday last month! The source told People Kristen was handling this split the same way she handled their split after news of her fling with Rupert Sanders broke: she’s staying at home but has friends around her “24/7.” I’m glad Kristen has friends she can rely on, at least. Break-ups are never easy.
