‘Star Trek Into Darkness‘ star Zoe Saldana stopped by ‘Extra’ to chat with Maria Menounos. It looks like Zoe did a wardrobe change at some point. She did the interview in that lovely peach blouse. At some time, either before or afterwards, Zoe was wearing a more playful tee. You can see it in the gallery. Either way, she looked great, didn’t she?

I’m sure Zoe dished the dirt with ‘Extra’ on the new ‘Star Trek’ movie. It comes out this Friday. Boy, am I READY to see this one! I’ve been excited about the ‘Star Trek’ sequel since I saw the first one several years ago. Are you planning on seeing ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’?

Britney Spears is putting in some serious hours getting ready for her Vegas show! The singer was seen going to a rehearsal. Afterwards, Britney stopped by Starbucks for a smoothie. Britney’s working hard, and it shows.

Isn’t she looking FAB these days? Britney is going to rock Sin City when the time comes. Hopefully she’s enjoying her downtime now: something tells me she won’t have much of it once these shows start. Would you make a trip to Las Vegas to see Britney perform?

OMG! Angelina Jolie opened up about what she’s been doing for the last few months. I doubt anyone expected this. Angelina wrote an op-ed piece in the New York Times about her decision to have a preventative double mastectomy. Here are some excerpts:

“… I carry a “faulty” gene, BRCA1, which sharply increases my risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer. My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman.

Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy. I started with the breasts, as my risk of breast cancer is higher than my risk of ovarian cancer, and the surgery is more complex.

On April 27, I finished the three months of medical procedures that the mastectomies involved. During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work…”

Angelina shares details about the entire process. She said she’s opening up about the double mastectomy to talk with other women about preventative steps they can take to avoid cancer. I have to say, I think this is an incredibly brave thing of her to do. There hasn’t been the slightest hint of a rumor about this, so none of us would have been any wiser. I’m amazed to find out Angelina was able to keep this so quiet after all of the celebrities (think Christina Applegate) who were forced to come forward because someone revealed the information anyway. After chatting up her fans during the day, Eva Longoria got glamorous for the red carpet. Here’s the former ‘Desperate Housewives‘ star in quite a gown for the Global Gift Gala. This frock is certainly different from what we typically see Eva- or anyone- wear! Check out the polka-dot-like pattern.

I’m not sure about that sheer skirt. Eva wasn’t quite as revealing as Gwyneth Paltrow at the ‘Iron Man 3′ premiere in Hollywood. Yet Gwyneth’s gown had an element of surprise. She wasn’t really showing off anything, but the sheer stripe up the sides went all the way to the top of her hip. Eva is clearly covered, but… I’m not sure if this works. It’s definitely different, however. And Eva always rocks the red carpet.

Maybe she just thought the brown locks were bad luck?  Reese Witherspoon was spotted watching her son Deacon play football along with husband Jim Toth and while she might have her hair tucked under her hat, you can still tell that it’s back to Reese’s signature blonde.

Reese had gone darker for a role in a movie that she was shooting while she was in Atlanta but it looks like she must have wrapped on that.  I’m sure Reese is anxious to forget all about her time in Atlanta, thanks to that pesky arrest that happened while she was there!  Seems like people have stopped talking about that quite so much anyway!
