Celebrities Come Out To American Idol Finale

Christina Applegate, Heather Locklear, Fergie, Janice Dickinson, Keith Urban, David Cook, Ruben Studdard, Teri Seymour, Carrie Underwood, and Joely Fisher came out to show their support for the ‘American Idol’ finale last night (which was insane right?!). Most celebs brought their children if they had any because I am sure it was more about being a fan than getting some press.

I always think about the scheduled performers who get to sing in front of the judges. You HAVE to wonder if they get nervous knowing that SIMON has his eye on them!

What Did You Think About Kara DioGuardi In A Bikini Last Night?

I will throw who actually WON ‘American Idol’ under the cut for those of you who live your life through the DVR (like my household does), but we can talk about the bikini rivalry between the show’s newest judge Kara DioGuardi and the infamous bikini girl.

Kara challenged the contestant by singing the song the way she felt it should sound during Katrina Darrell’s audition and now she showed up on stage wearing a bikini alongside the young TAN woman.

First Look: Ruben Studdard And Elliott Yamin’s Newest Singles

Check out the new music video for Ruben Studdard’s latest single, ‘Together‘. His sound in undeniable – so smooth and romantic.

Next up, we have another American Idol alum – Elliott Yamin. The singer is debuting his newest song, ‘Fight for Love’.

American Idol alum Elliott Yamin will release his sophomore album ‘Fight For Love’ this Tuesday, 5/5, on Hickory Records. ‘Fight For Love,’ produced by heavyweights including Jermaine Dupri, Stargate, Midi Mafia and Johnta Austin, is the followup to his gold-selling debut, the highest-charting (Billboard, #3) first album from an independent artist. Simon Cowell called Elliott a “vocal masterclass” following a performance on American Idol.

Just in time for the release, Elliott has debuted his video for “Fight For Love,” the first single. Nick Spanos, who has worked with Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Paul Oakenfold and has had his photos printed in countless major magazines, directed the video. It was shot at the historic Los Angeles Theatre.

Carrie Underwood Enjoys A Luau

Carrie Underwood looked as pretty as ever as she was escorted by a private security guard to her car after having dinner at ‘Luau’ restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.

I love the drop of her dress, though I am sure there is a lot of tape under there to make sure of no mishaps!

Diana DeGarmo Teams Up With GetScouted.com

I had the opportunity to sit down with former American Idol contestant Diana DeGarmo. The singer is currently starring in the LA-based performance of Back to Bacharach and David. With only 23 performances scheduled, fans have until May 17th to catch the show!!

Diana is also aligned with a new website called GetScouted.com, a new online marketplace that offers talent (singers, dancers, models etc) a way to connect with scouts who are looking for talent in a safe, secure and private online environment.

I am thrilled to share the following contest with you! Do you have a talent? Are you looking to compete for prizing?

Five winners will be chosen by GetScouted.com and flown to New York City on June 8, 2009 to compete in the final grand prize round. The grand prize finalists will perform in front of a celebrity judging panel at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. After we talked business, the conversation went to Twitter and Diana was pleased to say she just joined the revolution… though she is still trying to figure the whole thing out.Did you know she had a stalker? CRAZY!

I just joined, so I am still trying to figure out how to do it. I did it because my show asked me to. I’ve been so anti-technology because I have a hacker / stalker hack my life. She’s in jail right now. Just imagine someone infiltrating everything and sending out mass emails. I’ve had her for three years. It’s like a bad germ I can’t get off my skin.

I have a MySpace that I keep on lock down, and I feel I can’t even control that – let alone profiles on other networks. It is so basic because I am afraid to do anything to it because she might find me.
I don’t have Facebook even though there are 25 me-s online!
I keep my feed pretty broad and I do only about two or three updates a day.

All in all, she was a really sweet girl with a great head on her shoulders. And… she isn’t 16 anymore. I barely recognized her! Diana really grew up to be a beautiful lady.
