What a brave thing to do! Halle Berry opened up to US magazine and discussed probably the most vulnerable moment of her life when she attempted to commit suicide due to a failed relationship. When some celebrities won’t even admit they are dating, Halle is opening up her closet and confessing her deepest secrets. Here is what she said:

“I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming, when I had an image of my mother finding me,” she says. “She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low,” Berry said. I promised myself I would never be a coward again.” (source)

I wish more people thought about who they would hurt if they took their own lives. My college roommate and dear friend committed suicide my senior year and I will never forget it.

Never Say Never

Halle Berry told In Style magazine that she will never get married again.

“I will never, never get married again. Actually it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.”

But she is very interested in having children.

“I definitely want children. Very much. I want my kids to realize it’s only through hard work that any success or real joy comes,” she says. “It’s not about money; it’s the intangible rewards – ” having integrity and doing what you say you’re going to do.”

She recently has been quoted about her eagerness to adopt children in addition to any ‘natural born’ ones she might have. So this might be a very eventful year for our Miss Berry. I wonder if Gabriel Aubry is interested in making this move with her. Either way, I wish her the best.

“I will adopt if it doesn’t happen for me naturally. I will definitely adopt. And I probably will adopt even if it does happen naturally.”
