5 Celebrities Pledge $250,000 Each To Haiti Fund Nicole Kidman has donated $250,000 to Haiti.
The actress was one of five actors to promise the Caribbean island $50,000-a-year over the next five years to help the people of Haiti rebuild their lives. Who else made the pledge?
Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Gerard Butler, and Daniel Craig.The money will go to the Artists for Peace and Justice’s Haiti relief fund.
The donations were made during a fund-raising bash held by filmmaker Paul Haggis – who also founded the charity.
Paul – who worked on ‘Terminator Salvation’, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Casino Royale’ – has pledged to spend every penny donated on emergency relief and on the purchase of much-needed medical supplies.

Penelope Cruz At The Spanish Premiere Of “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” The lovely and gorgeous Penelope Cruz looked fantastic while walking the red carpet for the Spanish premiere of, "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" in Barcelona, Spain this past weekend.The equally gorgeous Javier Bardem was there, as well as director Woody Allen.
Did anyone see this in theaters? What did you think of it? I’m so curious to see how this film does.

Javier Bardem Once Danced For Money Javier Bardem was once a struggling actor. He was so hard up for cash that he actually danced for money at a club once while his mother was in the audience!!
"I danced one night in a place, there was a club. And they asked for a guy to kind of make a striptease and I did it. It was for ten minutes. I needed money.
"My mother was there in the audience. She was so proud."I love how he isn’t ashamed/ embarrassed/ scarred that his mother watched him on stage!

Penelope Cruz And Javier Bardem Engaged? A report is circulating saying that Javier Bardem proposed to Penelope Cruz while on vacation in France. The couple is expected to marry later on this year. Another engagement? I thought Ashlee Simpson’s engagement news would at least have 24 full hours before another celebrity popped the question.
Javier’s family is very excited about the new addition to their group. In fact, Penelope’s mother to be told her son:
“What’s the matter with you? She’s perfect! You love her, she loves you. Get married.’”
I have a thing for Penelope. She doesn’t crave press and she is a wonderful actress. I can’t wait to see her as a bride. She will literally be breathtaking in her wedding gown right? Well, that is if the engagement rumor is true…
