  Jessica Simpson Is Her Own Publicist Now

  Jessica Simpson was interviewed for Jane Magazine and admitted that she is calling all the shots for her own publicity now.We will just have to wait and see exactly what that means. Hundreds of magazines a month want quotes and pictures of Jessica. I seriously doubt she means she will handle it all.
  

  “It’s been very emotional. But I am my own publicist right now. I’ve called all the heads of the tabloids. I don’t want anyone else to speak for me now.”

  She is also sticking to her story that the John Mayer rumor release was not pre-planned from her camp (cough – cough – father) and instead was a tip from one of her non-friends.
  

  “I know who they are, and none are my friends. Trust me, if inside sources were my friends, the magazines would have a lot juicier info!”
