It’s Official: The Hills Will Return Without Lauren Conrad Well, I never thought I’d see it happen, but it has: MTV has announced that ‘The Hills’ will return next season without its star, Lauren Conrad. Instead the show will focus on newlyweds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, along with Audrina Patridge, Lo Bosworth, Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Justin Bobby, and "fresh faces."
‘Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds, so the stakes are higher than ever
before for the two to make things work,’ adds MTV. ‘Viewers will find
out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships,
relationships and loyalties are tested like never before.’ "Heidi’s already said ‘The Hills’ "doesn’t need" Lauren; she thinks the show will be just fine without her frenemy.
I know she hasn’t been wanting to be doing this for a while, and [the
life she really leads] is not on camera. So I think it’s a closing
chapter for her. I’m sure she’ll have fun and success."Audrina, like Heidi and Lo, also thinks the show will be fine. Audrina said, "We’re like family to our audience."
Lauren said the decision to leave was "bittersweet. I’ve spent the last five years making every decision be about the show."

Lauren Conrad And Jaime Foxx Outside The Late Show Lauren Conrad was looking fantastic in a gold dress and black pumps as she posed for photographers before heading into ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ yesterday in New York.Her dress is gorgeous and she looks great – pretty typical for LC right? That girl really has an eye for fashion.
Jaime Foxx was also spotted outside the Late Show looking very casual GQ in jeans, purple sweater, and glasses. ‘The Soloist‘ gives me goosebumps every time I see a COMMERCIAL. I can’t wait to go and see this movie in the theatre! Could this be an Oscar performance for Jaime?

Lauren Conrad Needed Acting Coach To Get Her Through The Family Guy Unlike Audrina Patridge, who made her big screen debut in Into the Blue 2, we shouldn’t expect Lauren Conrad to start an acting career anytime soon. A lot of people get into doing reality TV shows in hopes of making it into the movies, but LC says that was never a goal for her because acting isn’t something that comes naturally.
She was scheduled for a guest appearance on The Family Guy and ended up having to find a professional to help her with her lines.
"I hired an acting coach for the day to get me through it because a
lot of the lines later on in the episode that I did are very
complicated. There are a lot of facts and
big words, and I had to say it as if it was coming to me very easily,
the lines ahead of time, instead of just reading them. I actually had
to reasearch some of them!My coach that I was working with told me if I really
understood what I was talking about, it would come through a little
more true."Her episode will air on May 3rd so we’ll all find out how she did then!

Lauren Conrad Hosts Grand Opening Party At MGM Grand’s Wet Republic Lauren Conrad had some fun hosting Wet Republic’s grand opening at MGM Grand in Vegas. The pool season is among up and Lauren was the guest of honor.
The Hills reality star, donning a long, flowing lavender tie-dyed beach dress with her signature braided hair, devoted time to reach into a sea of fans and pose for photos. Following the blue carpet, Lauren headed to her VIP bungalow where she played the Wii and danced on the VIP pool deck with friends.
“I came in just for the day for WET REPUBLIC. It’s the opening day of the season for ’09 so I’m kicking it off! I feel like I go somewhere new every single time.I don’t feel like you can go wrong in Vegas as long as you have a good group with you. I love to gamble, pools during the day, then they have the best restaurants and clubs ever.”
What a LIFE!
