  Robert Pattinson Says He’s A Bit Old Fashioned Like His ‘Eclipse’ Character

  Robert Pattinson shared with Parade magazine about the building sexual tension between Edward and Bella in Eclipse. Robert says that he can relate to Edward, as he thinks of himself as a bit old-fashioned.

  “Edward is old fashioned. Nowadays, everyone just goes around screwing everyone for no reason. I guess Edward doesn’t really want to sort of cheapen his relationship with Bella, even though she’s pushing him to go all the way,” he told Parade. “He’s got this certain idea of how it should go with the love of his life. He wants to do it right and not just follow his base instincts. I guess I’m a bit old fashioned in that way as well.”

  He also shared that the kissing scenes with Kristen Stewart were much more at ease this time around:

  “Kissing felt a little bit more natural in ‘Eclipse,’ even if there was plenty of it. In ‘New Moon’ and ‘Twilight’ it was always like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna kill you if I kiss you,’ or something. It was always kind of odd,” he continued. “But, in this one, they both understand their situation a lot more, which makes it easier. It’s the first time Kristen and I have been able to just act like a normal couple.”

  Robert Pattinson Uses Fan Websites To Check His Schedule

  LOL!!! I LOVE THAT.

  Robert Pattinson says he uses fan websites to check his schedule. Who better to ask what his day is going to be like than an obsessed fan? Makes sense to me.

  “It’s kind of incredible the information they get so quickly. Sometimes I’ll check them to see what my schedule is on stuff, especially on the weekend when I can’t get through to my agency, or even to see my emails sometimes.

  “It’s strange being in ‘Twilight’ because so much of the fan base is being on the internet and having a community with each other.”

  Rob knows that his fan base is here to stay – even after Twilight ends because they show up on his other movie sets as well.

  “You see people turn up on sets of other movies I’ve done and take a picture. You know the main reason is so they can have a thing within their online community and you know it’s going to be up within five seconds. It’s strange.”

  This is the new world we live in.

  ‘Twilight’s’ Robert Pattinson Misses Dating

  I’m not sure how to take this, since Robert Pattinson has been linked with his ‘Twilight’ leading lady Kristen Stewart, but he confessed to missing dating since he’s become famous. This was during an interview on the ‘Today’ show this morning.

  “I would like to go on a date,” the Twilight actor told interviewer Jenna Bush Hager on Monday’s Today show on NBC. “I’m just saying. I’m just putting that out there. Because I never go on dates anymore.”

  Robert Pattinson Continues To Film ‘Water For Elephants’

  It must be so amazing to completely remove yourself from reality and become a character for a few months. I mean, from vampire to circus employee – you just can’t beat that.

  Here’s Robert Pattinson filming new scenes for his latest film alongside Reese Witherspoon – ‘Water for Elephants’. For those of you who haven’t read the book, Rob is about to go through a lot of heartache. For most of the story, his character is “beaten, broken, concussed, bleeding, swollen and hungover” according to Amazon’s review.
