  Does Robert Pattinson Want To Be A Superhero?

  Now that Robert Pattinson has played a vampire in the ‘Twilight Saga,’ he’s ready to move on… to superheroes. He has his eye on the character of Magneto in the ‘X-Men’ series.

  “Well, yeah, I think everyone wonders about [appearing in a superhero film] sometimes. My little cousin tells me I look like Magneto, so I guess that’s who I should probably play.”

  I’m not so sure Robert wants to do this; he strikes me as the type of actor who wants to move away from this sci-fi/fantasy films now that he’s done ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Twilight.’ I suspect he was just answering a question What do you think?

  Robert Pattison Insists He Is Single

  Robert Pattinson insists he is single. According to the actor, there is NO TRUTH to his relationship with Kristen Stewart, insisting he is too boring to be the subject of true stories.

  “I am single – almost everything that comes out about my private life is false. I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing. While I am filming, I live practically like a recluse in a hotel.

  “I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life.”

  The 23-year-old British star recently said he was lucky-in-love because he always gets dumped. Speaking of his vampire character Edward, he said:

  “He doesn’t know what to do. It’s this typically male attitude when you find somebody you’re in love with and your own doubts just keep messing up again and again. And then you realize as soon as you’ve messed up, you only have a few chances!

  “I’m like that every time! I’ll do that with every relationship I ever have. As soon as I like them I start beating myself up to a point of ridiculousness and then they hate me to the point of dumping me.”

  This boy needs therapy. LOL! I am sure there are a million girls (literally) who would give dating him a chance. He just needs to be opened to it. That is, unless he is already taken…

  Should ‘Breaking Dawn’ Be One Film Or Two?

  Apparently, Summit entertainment executives (who make the ‘Twilight Saga’ films) are pondering that question among others, including ways to get director Chris Weitz (who shot ‘New Moon’) to film it.

  I’ve heard a lot of people say ‘Breaking Dawn’ felt like two books, especially once it switched to Jacob’s perspective. The final ‘Harry Potter’ book was split into two films, and it seemed more like one book to me.

  I’m divided. On one hand, I’d like to finish the series, but ‘Breaking Dawn’ was such a departure. What do you think? Did you even stay on board through ‘Breaking Dawn,’ or were you one of the people who really didn’t like it?

  Robert Pattinson Says Twilight Saga Is A Metaphor For Abstinence

  Robert Pattinson told a British newspaper he thinks the ‘Twilight Saga’ is both sexy yet a metaphor for abstinence.

  Robert thinks the simmering tension coupled with other elements in the story are enough to dub it ‘sexy’.

  He told a British newspaper: “Twilight is a big metaphor for sexual abstinence, and yet it’s erotic underneath.”

  I definitely think a big part of ‘Twilight’s’ appeal is the “simmering tension,” as Robert puts it, and Stephenie Meyer’s Mormon beliefs include abstinence before marriage, but would you call the series a “metaphor for abstinence”?

  Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Enjoy Some Private Time

  While most of the ‘New Moon’ cast (including Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Ashley Greene, and Nikki Reed) celebrated the film’s release at the New York City club The Box, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart opted for a quieter evening.

  First, the couple reportedly enjoyed a smaller gathering that included Taylor Lautner at Soho House before going to club Avenue at 1:30 am with a security guard for a “more private time,” according to a source.

  “They sat very close to each other [and] looked very happy together. They chatted together the entire time.” When the pair left around 3am, “they were holding hands,” an eyewitness says.

  The evening before Robert and Kristen had dinner with a large group at the restaurant Gemma.

  “They were giggling a lot, and sitting very close,” an eyewitness tells Us, adding that Pattinson switched places “so he could sit next to Kristen.”

  It must be a relief to have completed this monster press tour! Have you seen ‘New Moon’ yet?

  The NYC Premiere Of ‘New Moon’

  Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli and a Taylor Lautner attended the Cinema Society & D&G screening of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in NYC last night. It looked like a business meeting didn’t it?! The event was very low key and a huge step down from their LA premiere. Wonder if the cast appreciated the quiet.

  Entertainment Weekly caught up with Taylor and asked him who he thought was sexier – werewolves or vampires.

  “That’s a hard question. They’re sexier in different ways. But, I mean, I’ll stay true to the pack. I’ll go werewolf.”

  The actor was also excited to see Jacob’s role expand a bit in the ‘Twilight’ sequel.

  “It was really exciting for me that Jacob has the opportunity to develop his relationship with Bella in this movie,” he said. “Really it’s setting up this entire series, which is this love triangle. So it was great to have them develop their relationship.”

  Will Stewart be hitting up a theatre this opening weekend? No way! However, Kristen is honored to play such a great character.

  “I think Bella is a really good role model. To be able to play her is just a serious honor.”

  I am DYING to see this movie. DYING.
