Beyonce Didn't Want An Engagement Ring

Really??? Maybe the fact that she wears diamonds all the time (and has the ability to purchase any ring she wants) makes owning an engagement ring no big deal.

In a rare, candid interview, Beyonce actually opened up about her relationship with Jay Z to Essence Magazine. They NEVER talk about their personal lives and it's really been working out for them. They seem like one of the strongest couples in young Hollywood today because of it.

On not wanting an engagement ring:

"People put too much emphasis on that," she says. "It's just material and it's just silly to me."

Instead the couple opted to tattoo the Roman numeral IV on their ring finger. Both birthdays and their wedding fall on that date.

On not embracing the photo op:

"What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real,"

On having a small wedding:

"It's been my day so many days already."

On knowing she found her soul mate:

"We've been together a long time," she says. "We always knew it would happen."

Beyonce To Debut New Song At MTV Europe Music Awards

Beyonce fans! I have great news! The singer will debut several tracks from her upcoming album at the MTV Europe Music Awards this November. The Crazy In Love hitmaker is the first big act to be announced by MTV bosses to be one of the main performers at the ceremony in Liverpool, England.

It is expected the singer will perform her forthcoming singles If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies, which are released simultaneously in October.

Beyonce always comes out with chart blasters... so I'm sure these two will be no different. I wonder which will beat the other. Two at the same time? That almost doesn't make sense to me.

Rihanna V. Beyonce, Again

*SIGH. As if these two need another reason to be pitted against each other. It's bad enough that the media has them constantly competing but now their record labels have done the same thing. Rihanna is releasing her 8th single, entitled Breakin Dishes, on the same day that Beyonce releases her two new singles If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies.

Personally, I like both their music so I'll probably get all three songs on iTunes. What about you?

I can't even stand it, so much talent and diva power in one room! Music royalty, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Beyonce and Nick Cannon were photographed leaving rehearsals for Fashion Rocks at the Rockefeller Center.

I love how in every photo we see of the two of them Nick is always holding Mariah's hand and guiding her. He looks so in love. :)

Beyonce Is Bored Of Being A Pop Singer

"I'm over being a pop star. I don't wanna be a hot girl. I wanna be iconic. And I feel like I've accomplished a lot. I feel like I'm highly respected, which is more important than any award or any amount of records. And I feel like there comes a point when being a pop star is not enough."

Of course she is bored. I mean, all that world touring, stage time, screaming fans, award shows. I'm yawning even writing this! I mean, how does Beyonce stay awake during her life?! :)

Truth is, she's accomplished it. She's redefined it. She is what people aspire to become. So yes, I can completely understand when Beyonce says she is over being a pop star. I'm surprised Madonna is still kicking as hard as she is.

Hotness! Beyonce does Marie Claire U.K. for their October issue and she looks great! She graces the cover with the headline, "Beyonce is back and ready to shock." I wonder what's in the works that will shock us. Because honestly, with Britney shaving her head and Lindsay Lohan dating girls, I don't take the word shock lightly. :)

Beyonce And Jay Z Watch Solange's Performance Together

SO LOW KEY! We hardly see Beyonce and Jay-Z anymore. This girl needs to start promoting a movie! Hurry up and finish working on Obsessed. That way we can at least see you on the red carpet.

The newlyweds are perfectly content traveling the world side by side staying as far out of the limelight as humanly possible. And I think it's great that they are actually able to do it.

Expect for when it comes to Solange! Beyonce took her husband to City Hall Parkto watch Solange Knowles hit the stage at the J & R MusicFest Concert Series. The odds of her doing as well as Beyonce is slim to none. BUT she does have the talent to hold her own. So, I am excited to see what she can bring.

The gorgeous Beyonce was photographed arriving to LAX yesterday looking fantastic in a pair of skinny jeans, white blouse, and peep toed heels. We haven't seen to much of her recently now that she a married woman. Hopefully she's enjoying her vacation from work and being a newlywed. :)
