You would think that being the daughter of celebrity royalty, Goldie Hawn, would come with a few perks. However, according to Kate Hudson, she definitely wasn't spoiled as a child.
"It's funny, because everybody thinks I was spoiled and flew first class everywhere, but it's not true."
Her parents would get first class, while Kate and her siblings would fly in the back like the rest of us mere mortals.
"My parents had four children and they weren;t going to pay thousands of dollars for our air fares – can you imagine the cost? They wouldn't do that.
We didn't care – we had each other to play with at the back of the plane, while my parents were traveling in luxury at the front."
I can't believe Goldie would fly separately from her kids...although I imagine this was when they were teenagers. Still, how funny that she would take first class by herself! I wonder if Kate will start doing the same with Ryder when he's older.

Benji Madden might be in the tabloids a lot for his over the top dating choices...*ahem* Paris Hilton and rumors of Britney Spears. But, at heart, he's just a family guy. He loves spending time with his niece, Harlow, and when she herself grows up and starts dating, any guy wants to take her out better watch out!!!
"I'm going to be keeping a close eye on her. I'll leave the shotgun right by the door."
He says his role will allow Joel to play Mr. Nice Guy.
"We're lucky being twins, because Joel can be the good guy and I'll be the bad guy."
Benji also has nothing but love for the tiny tot's parents.
"When they had her, their instincts just kind of came out, and it's amazing to see. They just really put their child above everything. Joel is such a great dad and Nicole is the best mom I've ever seen. Joel is all about showing up. His main concern in life is protecting and caring for his family."

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, prepare yourself for lots of celebrity quotes on marriage and love.
James Marsden is one of the more recent stars who's come out with his secrets on making it work. After about 8 years of marriage he and his wife, Lisa Linde, are still happy and in love.
"You're with someone who knows you better than yourself - and they still want you to stick around! And you help each other out, you confide in each other and it's very comforting. It's about being in love. Not everybody has that."
This next quote makes me melt a little bit.
"I happened to get very lucky with my girl. I got a good one. She thinks I'm great and I think the same about her. The best relationships are where you make a choice to make it work. You definitely have ups and downs - it's part of every relationship - but getting through that shows how strong you are together. (Marriage is) just wanting to spend every moment with that person. And you don't feel happy or whole if you're not with them."
Sounds like Lisa is a VERY lucky girl to be married to a guy like James. He's gorgeous, talented and SO sweet!

Kate Winslet will be the first to tell you that marriage isn't champagne and roses all the time. It takes WORK. And there's no shame in admitting that.
So how do she and hubby Sam Mendes keep things fresh? They make sure to work in their alone time!
"You have to work at a marriage. The best things always involve some effort. We aim to have two date nights a week, but always end up doing one. I don't dress up or anything, we just have a nice meal somewhere, share a bottle of wine and talk."
The key here is switching up your environment.
"Sometimes it's just about getting out of the house. We do loads of lovely meals with the kids, but every now and again you need to get out of the house together, go and be a couple, have a laugh."
Ahhhh, no kids and a nice QUIET meal....I must be dreaming. :P

"Men come and go but there really is no relationship like the one you have with a dog - and then they don’t live as long as they should. You have to say goodbye way too soon. It’s just so sad. It makes me so sad. But their love is unconditional and I love that."
-- Jennifer Aniston

"I don't have the energy to care if people criticize the way I look. I'm over getting dressed up, although it's fun sometimes - like when my younger brother Christian and I got ready together to go to the Oscars.
"But other than that, though, I couldn't care less. Being fun is way better than being beautiful. I would rather entertain people."

Sometimes I end up having to wipe my son's nose on my shirt, so it can't be silk and cost $800.

Well, Emma Watson herself says "never say never", but you can tell the actress doesn't agree with the stereotypical Hollywood lifestyle by reading the below quote she gave to AOL Moviefone.
Emma says that actors in London are not permitted to act entitled, and if they do, the public will put an end to it. That is something she respects and loves being a part of. Hollywood just isn't for her.Â
"Never say never, but I can’t imagine it. I think that it’s a wonderful lifestyle that you have here - the weather is amazing and everyone seems very healthy. It seems like a really nice place to live.
"Obviously, if I had a film here or whatever, then that would be great. But I don’t really know a lot of people here.Â
And what about celebrities that are the same age as her?
"Gosh, I could never be that bitchy! I think that living in England, it’s very disconnected from Hollywood. There’s a very different approach and attitude towards it. Acting in a starry way is just not tolerated. You will just have the piss taken out of you. People will just laugh at you."
Do you agree with what Emma is saying about Hollywood culture?

Ever wonder where Victoria Beckham pulls from for fashion guidance? School teachers!! The Spice Girl says she looks to her old disciplinarians for fashion inspiration.
"I love pencil skirts and fitted blouses, classic-cut dresses and well-fitted jeans, mixed with classic tailoring. I’m very British in my style - think school teacher! It’s always good to know what suits you.
Your signature style is whatever makes you feel happy, confident and sexy. Of course, it’s always good to mix things up now and again too.
So does the singer turned designer have any fashion tips for her fans?
"Push the boundaries and evolve your style, have fun, but be realistic. Don’t follow the crowd - go your own fabulous way!"
I don't know if pushing boundaries will cut it at my next PTA meeting - but it's worth a shot. :)

"It’s chaos at times but there’s also such joy in our house right now. I look down at the family and I see our boy from Vietnam (Pax) and our daughter from Ethiopia (Zahara) and our girl’s from Namibia (Shiloh was born there) and our son who’s from Cambodia (Maddox), and they are all brothers and sisters, man. They are all the same blood."Â
"It is such elation to see them all living together, and getting along together, and to know that we were able to give them a home - in some cases, to give them a life.
"It’s a wonderful thing that we are able to do this because of the jobs we have - and it’s a selfish thing, too, because the rewards are extraordinary."
"We’ve always said that we’ll carry on until we find a reason to stop doing this - and, no, we haven’t found that reason yet."
-- Brad Pitt in Hello Magazine
