The big day is drawing near for singer Fergie and her actor-fiance, Josh Duhamel!  The couple are said to be marrying on January 10, and all of the pre-wedding activities are well underway, including the tradition of bachelor and bachelorette parties!  Fergie and Josh are holding a joint one tonight.

'They wanted a more tame party and wanted to do it together.' But that doesn't mean they aren't going to celebrate! 'She's getting plenty of naughty gifts from all her girlfriends,' adds the insider."

A joint party certainly cuts down on the possibility of doing something in a drunken moment that could jeopardize your marriage before it even begins!  I think it's cute to hold a joint party; what do you think?

As for the wedding itself, Fergie and Josh are reportedly trying to keep it as private as possible.  They're working so hard at keeping it private that the guests don't even know the location yet!  They have also been asked not to bring any cell phones or cameras.

'It is going to be a small, secluded ceremony,' another source tells E! News. 'Very private, just close friends and family.' "

And yet they still supposedly can't bring cameras or cell phones?  I wonder if they'll be able to get all their relatives to comply with that?  

Hopefully they'll have a beautiful wedding day!

This morning we heard that Britney Spears' dad's conservatorship had been extended...FOR LIFE. Well, now Ok Magazine is claiming they know the real reason behind this shocking decision.

Their cover story is basically that Britney has traded her kids in for fame.

Last fall, as her upcoming concert tour was being organized, Brit's camp discovered that because of the star's history, they could not purchase insurance to cover her tour unless she was still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears. Until that point, the plan was for the conservatorship to be lifted on Dec. 31, followed by Britney, 27, heading to family court with a petition to regain custody of Preston and Jayden.

But an insider tells OK!, "The insurance situation changed everything."

So, Britney chose to let her father extend the conservatorship in order to get her tour insured. This decision means that no court will ever give her custody of her kids since legally, she's considered a child.

"Whether it was her decision or whether she was pressured into it, Britney's deal with the devil put the tour ahead of the kids," the insider tells OK!.

I'm feeling a little sick to my stomach.  Did Britney really choose this as an option for her life? And if she was forced into it, does that make her dad the bad guy?

It's about time! She's been pregnant FOREVER.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's rep has confirmed that Jen was admited to the hospital today and gave birth to another healthy baby girl. It's no secret that Violet Affleck is one of my favorite celebrity babies, so I'm SO excited for her to have a little sister.  I wonder if she'll look just like Jen/Violet.  I hope so. You can never have too many dimples in the world. :)

What a week for news... and it's only Tuesday! Alyssa Milano and David Bugliari are officially engaged! People Magazine is reporting that the actress and the CAA agent are planning to marry after just over a year of dating.

There are a lot of break-ups today, aren't there?  Medium's Patricia Arquette filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Thomas Jane.  She filed the paperwork in L.A. County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." 

They have a five-year-old daughter together.  Reportedly there is no prenup, but hopefully everything can be resolved civilly for their daughter's sake.

This is a sad start to 2009 for Jennifer Love Hewitt.  The Ghost Whisperer star and her fiance, Ross McCall, have decided to end their engagement.  They announced their engagement in November 2007 after dating for two years.

'They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement,' says a source close to the couple. 'They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them.' " 

Just last October when Jennifer debuted her new look, she said part of the motivation for her weight loss was her upcoming wedding.

Reps for Jennifer and Ross had no comment.

Break-ups are always sad, but maybe it's for the best.  It's better to realize something isn't working and call off the wedding than to go through with it and face more problems later.

According to People Magazine, Tara Reid had supposedly checked out of rehab a few days ago.  However, InTouch is reporting that's not true.

The actress is still in treatment at the Malibu rehab clinic and has been for the past three weeks. It’s unclear what Tara is being treated for.

After reading the blind item reveal, now I can't help but wonder if this is all one big publicity stunt.  Does Tara really need help with some kind of addiction, or is she just hoping to reach the same level of fame as the Lindsay Lohans and Britney Spears of the world?

Christmas with a significant other's family...that's a big one, isn't it?  Rihanna and Chris Brown spent the holidays at Chris' hometown of Goochland, Virginia. This was the first time in a while that Rihanna didn't fly back to Barbados at this time of year, making this a "big deal," according to the rags.

Another source is reporting that Rihanna and Chris are getting married.

Pals said Chris, 19, popped the question over the New Year.

Rihanna, 20, showed off the bling after performing with her fella at the O2 in London.

But, every time news comes out about these two getting serious, I just have to keep reminding myself how young they are! They've got plenty of time to take it slow...

Congrats Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell! The couple welcomed healthy twin girls to the world this past weekend. While Howard Stern was the one who confirmed the news, there's no word on names or the exact date of birth of these little ones.

How exciting for them! I can't wait to see pictures. With parents like Rebecca and Jerry, these babies are sure to turn out BEAUTIFUL! They have good genes on their side. :)

While no rep will confirm this life change, People Magazine is reporting that Dancing with the Stars cast members Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff have gotten engaged. They've been dating less than 6 months, but a source claims Maksim asked for Karina's hand in marriage while in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve and she said yes.

Congrats to the happy couple!
